Although it was at least 80° and the sand was burning our feet, the water had not warmed up very much and we were quite hesitant about getting in!  Finally, after Danielle and I had, very gingerly, waded out to about waist level, I decided to go back because the water seemed painfully cold to me.  However, Danielle, who’s braver than I, responded to André’s challenge, dove in and swam to the caves on the other side.
